It's Been Awhile...

since I've last posted on our blog. It's not that I haven't had anything to share. We've actually been up to quite a bit in the past month- I guess I just haven't had a chance to sit down a write about it all.

A few weeks ago I headed down to Gulf Shores with some friends to celebrate, my good friend, Lindsey's Bachelorette Party. We were lucky enough to spend the weekend at a beach house directly on the beach. It was a little chilly but we bundled up and didn't let it stop us from enjoying ourselves. Saturday night we took Lindsey out for a night on the town! We found a piano bar that was actually pretty dead so we were able to request all the songs we wanted! :) We also had the guys play an obligatory embarassing Bachelorette song while Lindsey sat on top of the piano. The night included a lot of dancing, singing, and plenty of shots. We had such a blast!

For Easter we headed to Elba and had a nice time with Jep's family. Easter Eve Jep played golf with his brothers while the girls sat around the pool at Jep's mom's house to get some sun--actually we got A LOT of sun! Easter Sunday was a busy one. We had breakfast at Granny Farris', headed to church and then had round two of some delicious food at Granny and Papa DuBose's.

This past weekend Jep and I made a trip to Atlanta to kick off wedding season. Our good friends, Ricky and Callie, got married on Saturday. It was a beautiful wedding and we had a great time catching up with some friends we hadn't seen in awhile.

Cheers to Ricky & Callie

Jep & Daniel

In between weddings, holidays, and other celebrations we have been trying to do a little yard work. Our yard is still a work in progress and we hope to really tackle it this weekend. Spring is definitely in the air though! The flowers are blooming, the grass is turning green, and the trees are growing leaves! Ahh...I just love Spring!

I have a new obsession with wreaths--here is my Spring wreath

I'm attempting my container garden again this year. Last year didn't go too great- I think I just started it too late. These are the beginnings of squash. I'm also growing cucumbers, tomatoes, and peppers

We've also been able to squeeze in some lazy days in between everything else that's been going on this past month! :) I love this picture--Like father, like son!
