We arrived to the hotel on Friday afternoon and immediately headed out to the Broadway strip.
This little girl was so excited! I just knew she'd love all the hustle and bustle. She is such a people watcher like her mama and Grammy!
After some strolling, we stopped for a late lunch at Cadillac Ranch. This is where Lilah had her very first taste of fried pickles. :) She loved them! She's a girl after my own heart.
After we enjoyed lunch and live music on the patio it was onto our next stop...Boot Country!
We just couldn't pass up the deal of Buy 1 pair, get 2 pairs FREE!! So, we got our stylish little sister a pair in every color!
When we booked our trip, we didn't realize that the Nashville Predators would be playing in the playoffs. This also made for some good crowd watching. We spent a good bit of time outside of the stadium watching all of the hockey festivities. Hockey fans are pretty crazy so again, this made for some good people watching! :)
This picture of Lilah by herself outside of the hockey stadium cracks me up.I don't know why. I guess it is because it looks like she is all by herself without anyone watching her. You'll notice Grammy's hand off to the right side...so she wasn't too far in case someone tried to run off with a cute baby! :)
Later that evening, we hopped on over to another cute little bar to listen to some more music. Things got really crazy when we pulled out the "Here Comes Peter Cottontail" book. Shortly after this picture was taken, we called it a night. All the crazies were starting to come out and our little one was getting ready for her bedtime.
We woke up to a cold, rainy Saturday. Since it was a little too cold to spend time outside...we did what we do best. SHOP! We headed to the Opry Mills mall. Love, love, love that mall!! There will definitely be more trips in the future.
Saturday evening we headed back out onto Broadway for a little more honky tonkin'. I use that term very loosely because we had a 10 month in tow! :)
We tried to get our picture taken with Elvis but she was having none of it.
And...here we are back home in some of our new Nashville gear.
We also came home to this!
Papa was hard at work building us a raised garden while we were away on our girls trip. He's the best!!
Can't wait to have some fresh veggies this summer! He planted cherry tomatoes, okra, lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, regular tomatoes, and onions.
Sounds like you ladies had a blast! Those boots are so cute, I couldn't have passed them up either. Love the raised garden, looks like he did a good job!
