PCB 2012

Ahhh...so pretty!!

Jep and I were able to sneak away to the beach for a couple days thanks so much to Nana (for keeping Lilah) and Ms. Lucia (for a place to stay!). It was a much needed break for the both of us. We rarely get time just the two of us since our families are spread out all over.

Jep and I headed down to Panama City Beach on Thursday afternoon and started off the trip with a yummy lunch of grouper and shrimp at Salty Sue's. After lunch, we enjoyed some beach time while sipping on margaritas...ahhh paradise!! Later that night we had another awesome dinner at Boatyard. So, so good! After dinner, I had to remind Jep that he is no longer a young buck and that the Tiki Bar was no place for a Papa with a 9 month old daughter! :) Haha!

Friday afternoon we got the sweetest, little surprise. Nana made a quick trip down with Lilah for lunch and a little pool/beach time. :)

Here she is at Sharky's chomping away on some crackers. Lilah made her first experience in Panama City Beach a memorable one...she had a big diaper blowout that required a two person team to clean up as well as a change of pants and then she spit up all over shirt on the way out of the restroom. Crazy, crazy girl!

On the way out of the restaurant we couldn't help but laugh at how drastically times have changed over a few short years. On the way into the restaurant Jep is questioning whether or not Sharky's has a baby changing table in the restroom. Then, on the way out he was carrying a lilac colored Coach diaper bag over one shoulder. Wow!! The legend of PCB Spring Breaks (as he referred to himself) is no longer, folks!

Baby girl couldn't be kept away from the pool. Even though it was freezing she still wanted to play. What a water baby!!

And...what's a trip to Panama City without an airbrushed tee?! Here is sweet girl with her souvenir from her first Spring Break.

  1. What a wonderful trip! I'm so jealous, I so need a break away alone with my hubby. It's been so long! Sitters are just really hard for us to come by. Glad you all were able to get to spend some quality time together :)

LOVE her in that little airbrushed shirt. Too cute!!!
