Construction Watching and Backyard Walking

Before Lilah and I leave each morning, Jep takes her outside for a "nature walk." Nature walks usually consist of walking around the back/front yard or checking out the garden. Yesterday morning's stroll was a little more exciting than usual. There are a few houses being built in our neighborhood and the trucks showed up bright and early to pour concrete.  Here is Jep teaching his little girl all about construction. :)  Too sweet!

Lilah has been LOVING her new Dinosaur. Last night we took her and Dino outside so she'd have free roam of an open backyard without any furniture to get in her way.   She did so well! It was actually her first time walking around in grass. We are really seeing tons of improvement in her walking compared to just a few days ago.  Lately, she actually has been standing on her own without assistance for a few seconds at a time.  Her teachers are betting that she'll be walking before the end of this month....we shall see!
